Job Description Who we are Our first scrum team located in Kraków is responsible for delivering and maintaining applications that handle Agency Revenue Optimization suite (Commissions, Retailment, many more) for Sabre’s customers across Travel Network. We deliver front and back-end solutions (services) for Travel Network and Airline Solutions customers. Second scrum team is responsible for Ancillary Manager application, which creates software supporting shopping, booking, and fulfilment of Bags, Seats, and other ancillaries for airlines and travel agencies. You will be part of high performing, truly cross functional, collaborative, agile teams that work closely with business to create a world class product. Moreover, you will collaborate across marketing, delivery, customer care and other development teams to help the team succeed. What you will be doing As a Business Analyst on this team, you will have an impact on every stage of development. You will be responsible for continuous refinement of team backlog by defining and translating business and functional requirements for new features, revising existing system functionality and defining enhancements ensuring that development activities are focused on delivering the long-term product vision and owns the continuous refinement of team backlog. In addition, your soft skills will be crucial to help our other BAs to increase their knowledge and productivity. Responsibilities: Works closely with stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Product Managers, Architecture, other partners) on defining business requirements Works with the development team providing team members with help in understanding customers’ needs As a subject matter expert and scrum team member will work closely with software developers, create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and test cases based on business requirements Analyze new feature requirements and how they fit into existing products Under general direction, formulates and defines complex systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of industry requirements Documents solutions in comprehensive User Stories that describe what needs to be delivered Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of proper system requirement specifications Researches and analyzes current systems to gain an understanding of customer business requirements that are needed to support development of new solutions Will understand, interpret and translate business requirements and aviation regulations into the necessary designs and documentation. Assesses business requirements to evaluate alternative or existing solutions Presents technical problems in a comprehensible way to the business Identifies opportunities to maximize use of current product for customers Investigates and analyze root cause for issues reported by the external and internal customers Supports release scope based on business priority, risks and technical dependencies Creates user guides, help documentation, scope of the releases for customers Initiate and translate product road map into manageable product backlog Refines and prioritize Product/Release backlogs in collaboration with Development Team, as necessary Provides inputs for go/no-go decision making for every release in conjunction with key stakeholders Interfaces with customer when required by Product Manager. Translates customer needs/feedback into more detailed business requirements Job Requirements Must have: Good understanding of software development methodologies, Agile and Scrum in particular Experience as Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Management role or similar Ability to perform business systems analysis; explain and document complex requirements in a clear, concise manner Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects workload Flexible attitude, organized and able to handle competing priorities Work collaboratively and cross-functionally as part of a team as well as independently Very good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Very good English communication skills; written and verbal Nice to have: Certificates: IIBA, Product Owner certificate (scrumalliance, scrum.org) Basic knowledge of SQL We will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
